# Connect Google Search Console to Claude

> Connect HyperGSC through Claude's connector directory, sign in with OAuth, and analyze your Google Search Console data in Claude or Claude Desktop.

Use the [HyperGSC connector in Claude's directory](https://claude.ai/directory/hypergsc) to ask Claude questions about your Google Search Console data.

## Before you begin

Sign in to [HyperGSC](https://hypergsc.com/sign-in), connect your Google account, and select the Search Console properties you want Claude to read. Follow the [quickstart](https://docs.hypergsc.com/quickstart.md) if you have not connected your site yet.

## Connect Claude or Claude Desktop

1. Open the [HyperGSC connector](https://claude.ai/directory/hypergsc) in Claude's directory.
2. Review its description and capabilities, then choose **Connect** or **Install** to start setup.
3. Sign in to HyperGSC in your browser and approve the requested access.
4. Return to Claude and start a new conversation with HyperGSC enabled.
5. Ask Claude to list your available websites to confirm the connection.

You can also find HyperGSC by opening **Customize → Connectors** in Claude or Claude Desktop and searching the directory. On a team workspace, an owner may need to enable the connector first.

> **[Connect HyperGSC to Claude](https://claude.ai/directory/hypergsc)**
>
> Open the HyperGSC connector listing and connect your account.

## Ask your first SEO question

```text theme={null}
Use HyperGSC to list my connected Search Console websites.
Ask which site to review if there is more than one.
Show the top searches for that site over the last 28 days,
including clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position.
Include the reporting dates and any data limitations.
```

Claude should only see the properties you enabled in HyperGSC. If the list is empty, return to **Connections**, choose a property, and select **Save changes**.

Then try [improving CTR](https://docs.hypergsc.com/workflows/improve-ctr.md), [reviewing traffic changes](https://docs.hypergsc.com/workflows/weekly-search-review.md), or [checking indexing](https://docs.hypergsc.com/workflows/check-indexing.md).

## Claude Code terminal setup

For Claude Code, add the remote server from your terminal:

```bash theme={null}
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user hypergsc https://hypergsc.com/mcp
```

Open Claude Code, run `/mcp`, and complete HyperGSC browser authorization when prompted. The user scope makes the server available across your projects; check your existing configuration before adding a duplicate connection.

## Manage access

Manage the Claude connection from **Customize → Connectors**. Your Google connection and property selection remain in HyperGSC **Connections**.

Saving keywords or SEO change records requires separate research-write consent and an eligible plan. See [authentication](https://docs.hypergsc.com/mcp/authentication.md) for details or [troubleshooting](https://docs.hypergsc.com/troubleshooting.md) if the connection fails.
