You need a HyperGSC account, a Google account with access to a Search Console property, and a supported AI assistant.
1

Sign in to HyperGSC

Open HyperGSC and sign in. Your HyperGSC login and your Google Search Console connection are separate.
2

Connect Google Search Console

Open Connections, choose Connect Google Account, and complete Google’s consent flow with the account that has access to your property. HyperGSC requests read-only Search Console access.
3

Enable a property

Select the properties you want agents to read and choose Save changes. Newly discovered properties are disabled until you select them. Free supports one selected property.
4

Connect your AI assistant

For Claude or Claude Desktop, open the HyperGSC connector in Claude’s directory and follow the connection prompts. For other assistants, open AI tools in HyperGSC and choose your assistant. Follow its setup instructions, use the hosted MCP URL when requested, and complete browser authorization.
Follow the guide for ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, or Cursor.
5

Verify a real tool call

Ask your assistant to list the websites available through HyperGSC. It should return only the properties you enabled. Choose a site and ask for its top searches.

Ask your first SEO question

The agent should use the exact site_url returned by discovery. A Domain property may look like sc-domain:example.com; a URL-prefix property may look like https://www.example.com/.

Confirm the connection

A successful agent request verifies agent access. Browsing the HyperGSC dashboard alone does not verify an MCP connection. If the property list is empty, check the selected Google account, use Refresh properties, and save your property selection again. If authorization fails, follow troubleshooting. Once connected, try a weekly search review or CTR opportunity review.
